Hi Friends!

My name is Dr. Kerry Anne Perkins and I am proud to be a Wonder Girls Board Member and the Garfield Park Academy Program Coordinator!

Wonder Girls is an after-school program for middle and high school girls with a mission to build confidence, leadership, community spirit, and the necessary business skills to succeed no matter what educational or career path they choose.

In addition to my work with Wonder Girls, I am a practicing Board Certified OBGYN and a Captain in the United States Army. Throughout my career and my time with Wonder Girls, I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many beautiful, strong young women helping them to achieve their fullest potential!

In my time as the Garfield Park Academy Program Coordinator, I have seen firsthand the positive impact that Wonder Girls has had on these young girls. I have watched their confidence soar, heard the joy in their voices, and felt the strength and trust they’ve built with each other.

Join me in supporting Garfield Park Academy! Donate to Wonder Girls Today!

My hope is to inspire YOU to not only donate but also be active participants in supporting and empowering the next generation. Will you join me?

Garfield Park Academy is a New Jersey state approved, private, not-for-profit school that provides effective, evidence-based special education services for students in grades K-12 who have a history of learning, social, emotional and behavioral challenges.

What WE Do

The Wonder Girls after-school program is held at middle and high schools and/or community centers. The curriculum is covered within 8 self-development workshops and 8 community service days. The curriculum is customized for the needs and demographics of our girls at each school and focuses on a specific topic tied to the fundamentals of our core mission. All workshops are led by professional women and supported by mentors from all different backgrounds and industries.
