2023 - 2024 Wonder Girls Community Group

Open to 7-12th Grade Teen Girls

Generally, our program is offered at a middle or high school but if your school is not currently participating in the program, you can enroll in our Wonder Girls BERGEN | ROCKLAND program. This group meets in the areas of Bergen County, NJ, and Rockland County, NY.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

• Build confidence

• Develop leadership & business skills

• Learn from 30+ professional women from all different backgrounds

• Meet and network with other amazing girls from all different schools!

• Volunteer and earn 20+ community service hours

• Get the opportunity to apply for 5 annual scholarships (seniors only)

• Gain access to paid work and career experiences

  The program runs from September through June and includes a total of 13 workshops, volunteer days, and events. The workshops focus on building confidence, leadership, and business skills. Each workshop is led by a professional speaker and supported by mentors from all backgrounds and career paths. A key component of the Wonder Girls program is to instill a sense of community spirit, social responsibility, and the importance of giving back to those in need. Each month we partner with local organizations to host volunteer days where the girls gain hands-on experience and learn about various careers in the non-profit sector.
